Flashback to Austin

“A day at the lake restores the soul”

Definitely, one of the best days I’ve ever had. We were planning this mini trip for days and despite that we had it organized differently from the way we wanted originally, it turned out to be pretty good. We went to this place in Austin called Lake Travis, which is certainly spectacular. With just looking at the landscape, lying down, and feeling the sun you can relax in matter of seconds.

The weather was terribly hot, so as soon as we got into the boat, and found a perfect spot we jumped into the water without hesitation. I have to say that feeling of cold water in such a hot weather gave us the perfect scenario of relaxation and tranquility that we were all looking for.

We moved from place to place because we wanted to see everything, but it was impossible because the lake it’s huge. When we anchored at the second place, a friend and I were swimming until we decided to jump from a cliff that was near us. Everyone else also wanted to jump so they came. The cliff wasn’t too high but it was absolutely amazing. I wanted to record every single second of this awesome experience. As you can see, I am one of those people who loves taking pictures, and I must admit that sometimes I can get little intense. What can I tell you? I just love it! While we were jumping, a friend was on the boat, so I decided to shout at him from the cliff to take pictures and record videos, and what not better way but in slow motion? So the only words I said and repeated over and over again were “do slow motion, do slow motion”. My friends made fun of it and decided that every time they jumped they would shout at loud “do slow-motion” imitating me. And the truth is that it was actually funny because they ended up liking the idea, even though they will never accept it.

At night we went to downtown, and we decided to stop at this place called Shake Shack. Where their burgers are just amazing!  We sat to eat and my friends and I couldn’t stop laughing about my “slow-motion” thing. What can I say? It was hilarious.

¡Simplemente me encanta!
